Paul Toner Joins Distinguished Panel to Discuss Act 135

On December 2nd, Paul joined a distinguished panel on the current status of Act 135 at the Pennsylvania's Housing Alliance's 2021 conference--Homes Within Reach. The panel included Raymond Baum, a leading Act 135 practitioner from Clark Hill, Kendall Pelling, Executive Director of Rising Tide Partners, and the Honorable Ann Butchart of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.

Firm to Present at Upcoming CLE on Land Use and Zoning

Paul J. Toner is scheduled to present at a CLE entitled "Land Use and Zoning: Working with Local Governments." The CLE, which is hosted by the National Business Institute, will take place on July 7, 2020 in King of Prussia. Paul will speak on topics including Local Ordinances and Procedures and Overcoming "NIMBY" Opposition to development projects.

Prominent Municipal Law Attorney, Andrew Ross, Joins Orphanides & Toner, LLP

Orphanides & Toner, LLP, is pleased to announce that prominent municipal law attorney, Andrew Ross, has joined the firm.  Andy has decades of experience navigating Philadelphia city government and counseling city agencies, including the Philadelphia City Planning Commission, the Philadelphia Historical Commission and the Department of Licenses & Inspections.  During his fifteen years with the city's Law Department, Andy also served as Chief City Solicitor for the Code Enforcement Unit.  In that role, he acted as the primary zoning attorney for the city administration and represented the Historical Commission and members of City Council.
